Working with Dr. Paula Keeton, Ph.D.

How do you approach the beginning of your therapeutic work together?

Our first few sessions together are focused on us building a trusting relationship and for me to get a solid understanding of your concerns and what your hopes for therapy are. As we go deeper, we’ll begin to strategize and activate ways for you to be your best self.

What do you hope for your patients once you’ve concluded therapy?

My hopes for my patients are that they will have greater self-acceptance and that they can better acknowledge and embrace their strengths, vulnerabilities, and values. Overall, I hope my patients will wrap up therapy with less psychological distress.
